Honor Magic 5 Lite Review

The Honor Magic 5 Lite isn't just a looker, sporting specs including a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and a 5100mAh battery.

Lightweight, familiar design ; Premium 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display ; Solid all-day battery life ; Great performance from the main rear camera

Secondary cameras are underwhelming ; Chipset isn’t that powerful ; Stuck on Android 12

This budget handset borrows plenty from last year’s flagship to deliver a familiar and strong-performing smartphone.

Honor Magic 6 Lite review: Still has a few tricks up its sleeves | Expert Reviews

Despite middling performance and limited software support, the Magic 6 Lite is an enchanting mid-ranger with some serious stamina

Gorgeous design ; Fantastic battery life ; Bright and colour-accurate display

Stingy software support ; Middling secondary cameras ; There are faster rivals at this price

The wobbles in the camera department and mediocre performance take some of the shine off the Honor Magic 6 Lite but they aren’t drastic enough drawbacks to dull it completely. Even the limited software support, which is by far my strongest criticism,...

Honor Magic 6 Lite review: generation game

With ample stamina and head-turning styling, the Honor Magic 6 Lite makes a convincing case if you're on a budget

Fantastic battery life ; Looks and feels like a much pricier phone ; Main camera packs in plenty of detail

Macro lens doesn’t add much value ; Runs Android 13 and only due 2yrs of updates

A beefy battery, capable main camera, and a body that could rival some flagships in the style stakes. The Honor Magic 6 Lite makes a compelling case if affordability is important.

Honor Magic 5 Lite review: More than just a cheap trick

While not the most powerful phone in its price range, the Honor Magic 5 Lite is still a strong all-round contender

Stupendous battery life ; Vibrant, curved display ; Slim and stylish design

Mediocre low-light photography ; Performance is good, but not great ; No microSD card slot

With only a brief stumble in the camera department, the Honor Magic 5 Lite emerges as a fairly well-rounded, affordable phone. The display and battery life are both fantastic, with the only snag on the latter being that there’s no fast charging plug...

Honor Magic 5 Lite review: sharp looks, sensible price

Affordable offering is well equipped and has plenty of stamina

Stylish looks and quality display ; Great battery life ; Main camera a decent enough performer

Secondary cameras a weak link ; Outperformed by similarly-priced rivals

A keenly-priced mid-ranger with sharp looks, a quality screen and stellar battery life – although mobile photographers have better options for similar cash.

Honor Magic5 Lite/Honor x9a review

The midranger in Honor's flagship Magic series comes back for another round in 2023 and offers quite a few upgrades over its predecessor. While last...

Flagship-grade, curved 120Hz OLED panel.

Underwhelming camera quality and no 4K video recording.

Honor's midranger still drags behind the competition in terms of raw performance, launches with outdated Android and judging by its predecessor, an update to Android 13 probably won't arrive this year. It has no stereo speakers, ships without a...

Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G Review: Why Pay More When You Can Have Magic?

As flagship smartphones become more powerful [and expensive] with each new model, we review the lower-cost Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G.

Amazing display ; 2-day battery life ; Sub-£300 price at launch

1080p max video resolution ; No wireless charging ; No SD card expandable storage
