HTC Legend

HTC takes the Android smartphone to new heights with highlights such as a 3.2in AMOLED display and aluminium chassis.

Exceptional viewing screen ; Excellent web browser ; Powerful LED flash

Fiddly to remove microSD card ; Narrow screen ; Wobbly video footage

The HTC Legend is undoubtedly our favourite Android phone so far. Its screen looks amazing and is responsive, it's packed with features, and of course that aluminium chassis is something to behold. So if you're a fan of Android already and you're...

HTC Legend

The HTC Hero was undeniably the handset of 2009, winning many industry awards, including Pocket-lint's own. It represented the pinnacle of HTC's Android smartphone assault and the launch handset for the HTC Sense user interface. The HTC Legend...

HTC Sense, intuitive, easy to setup, build quality, touch response, onscreen keyboard is excellent

Battery life, video capture, video codec support, sharp top edge makes for uncomfortable calling

The HTC Legend has the looks and offers the type of user experience that will turn heads, without a doubt. It takes what the HTC Hero started and continues, offering a compact device with plenty of power and an interactive experience that sets the pace...

Taking Android to the next level - Apple should be scared

Excellent UI ; Nice battery input mechanism ; Speedy browser ; Responsive keyboard ; Stellar design

Average battery life ; Friendstream and Peep slow to update

After the success of the HTC Hero, the Taiwanese firm is back again with the first of its duo of Android 2.1 phones, the HTC Legend.

HTC Legend review

Like its predecessor, the HTC Legend smartphone has a very distinctive design. This time it's thanks to the aluminium, unibody casing with a brushed finish. Like Apple's MacBook Pro, the HTC Legend's unibody casing is carved from a single block of...

The HTC Legend may lack the extra-large screen of the flagship HTC Desire, but the unibody aluminium casing is a superb piece of industrial design. The Legend is an excellent smartphone and a solid improvement over its predecessor.

HTC Legend - silver review

If you couldn't tell, we were a little smitten with the HTC Legend when we saw the Android smartphone debut at Mobile World Congress 2010 , so you can imagine our delight when the device landed in our office just a few days ago. As the successor to the...

The HTC Legend boasts a beautiful design with an AMOLED touch screen. The Android 2.1 smartphone adds a faster processor, more RAM, and a camera flash. HTC Sense features new and useful enhancements.

The Legend isn't compatible with North American 3G bands. Camera quality is mixed.

With its design improvements and feature enhancements, the HTC Legend is a worthy upgrade from the Hero and one of the most solid and well-built Android phones we've seen in its class. We can only hope that a North American version is released soon.

HTC Legend review

The HTC Legend, as the name might suggest, is a direct successor to the company's popular Hero, which formerly held the crown of Best Android Phone - that is, before Google brought out its own Nexus One. The Legend looks remarkably similar to the Hero...

Fantastic build quality, good battery life, a vibrant display, and superbly functional software make the Legend the best value smartphone currently available.

HTC Legend Mobile Phone

The HTC Legend mobile phone was machined from a single block of aluminium and thus renders a solid and high-grade impression. A characteristic product feature is the phone's lower edge, which is angled slightly inward and distinguished by a contrast in...

HTC Legend – Mini Review

The Legend is similar in both size and shape to the HTC Hero but this times there's an “alloy unibody” making it very solid with a slide-in battery. The “chin” is still there but, instead of the trackball, there's now an “optical trackpad” on the chin....
