LG KF390

The Blue Tick of approval

Sleek, compact design, HSDPA 7.2, Telstra Blue Tick, access to Next G and BigPond services

Glossy front attracts fingerprints, mediocre Web browser, no A2DP Bluetooth

The KF390 is a competitive offering for rural consumers, but it is also great for city slickers too. It won’t blow you away with features, but this is a solid handset that does the job with minimal fuss.

Take out the Next G reception and you end up with a low quality handset at a mid-range price point. Still, it's great to see another blue tick phone for our friends in the bush to consider.

Sleek, glossy design ; Next G capable with Blue Tick ; Good Web browsing ; Touch sensitive keys add flare

but are too easy to press by mistake ; Low quality display ; Bad for mobile TV ; Too expensive for what you get

If you disregard the 7.2Mbps HSDPA, the LG KF390 strikes us as a prepaid model phone with its otherwise basic features set. The excellent Web browsing does lift the KF390 out of this category a bit, but its poor display kills this particular feature in...

I Had this phone now for 2 years without fuss. I like the functions except when you bend down, it's very sensitive particular bending down for something that you drop. i.e. Tissue or object. You really need a case to carry this around cause it gets...

I'd rather have something else - anything would be better, my old Nokia runs rings around it

performance very slightly better than my 6110 nokia

modem useless, touch buttons operate from hand shadows 100mm away in bright sunlight
