LG Vortex (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Vortex is still a good budget Android smartphone despite Verizon's best attempts to cripple it.

Good mix of speed, screen resolution, and features for the price. Runs Android 2.2. Wi-Fi hotspot mode (at extra cost). Great battery life.

Bloatware-infested. Inconsistent UI performance. Difficult to type on virtual keyboard.

Camera and Conclusions The 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera has no LED flash. Test photos were fine, with slightly soft focus but good color balance both indoors and out. Detail on patio bricks and tree leaves were fine in the sun, but books on a shelf...

LG Vortex Cell Phone Review

LG cut a few corners to make the Vortex a less expensive option. This is obvious in the weaker processor which also results in the inability of the phone to display Adobe Flash websites. It can also be seen in the lack of the flash on the camera and...

Easy to use, nice size, looks nice.

Poor battery life-to be expected tho.
