Motorola Droid Mini review

This Mini packs a punch

Mini price with full size specs ; Very light ; Snappy GPU ; Lightning fast operating speed ; Display doesn't feel constrained

Battery life untested ; Droid Zap is slow ; Touchless Control not demoed on Mini ; Not as thin as the Ultra ; Unsure how Touchless Control will perform in the wild

In all other ways, the Droid Mini acquitted itself well. With the same inner workings as the Ultra, basic app usage should be identical in all cases. The price is also right on the Droid Mini. The baby of the Ultra line runs $99 for new contracts and...

Motorola Droid Mini review

If you're a Verizon customer looking for an affordable yet compact Android smartphone, the $99.99 Motorola Droid Mini sure sounds tempting. And on the whole it delivers just what you'd expect from a $99.99 phone. It has the same fast processor as the...

The compact Motorola Droid Mini offers a speedy processor, long battery life, and advanced Android features for an affordable price.

The Droid Mini’s chassis feels cheap and attracts grease and fingerprints easily. The phone’s screen has inaccurate colors with low contrast.

If $100 is the most you can spend, the Motorola Droid Mini will fit the bill, but splurging on the handsome Moto X pays dividends later.

Motorola DROID Mini Review

Just as the Motorola DROID Ultra is this year's replacement for the DROID RAZR HD, the new DROID Mini takes the place of the DROID RAZR M in the line-up. In fact, both the DROID Mini and DROID Ultra share similar features, such as the 1.7GHz Motorola...

Nice size for compact smartphone lovers ; Close to stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with exclusive Motorola apps ; Excellent call quality

Glossy back is fingerprint magnet ; Lacks expandable storage

With a 2-year contract price of $99.99, the Motorola DROID Mini is the most affordable of the new DROIDs, and still has the same X8 processor, software, and features that its larger siblings have. The DROID Mini is truly designed for someone that wants...

Motorola Droid Mini Review

Love Android, but hate the giant screens required to get a high-end phone? With a 4.3-inch display, the Motorola Droid Mini might be just what you need.

Inventive, genuinely useful software features ; Powerful, fluid performance ; Bright, vibrant display

Ugly, slimy design ; Inferior battery life ; Limited storage

So, with all this being said, who is the Droid Mini for? It’s for people who want to save a buck, for one, since the Mini is no less powerful or featured than any of its bigger brothers. It’s for Google-philes, since Motorola’s leveraged its status as...

Motorola Titanium mini-review

The Motorola Titanium is the latest Android Nextel device, complete with a full portrait keyboard and push-to-talk features. It's rugged, meeting MilSpec 810G for dust, shock, vibration, low pre...

Here's the part where we always say you need to try a phone yourself and form your own opinion, but I'm not going to do that this time. Instead, I think you should decide if you need a rugged Android phone with PTT functions. If you do, the Titanium...

Consumer review (cnet.com)

"POS! It does so much, and very poorly."

I need a smaller phone. Larger phones get in my way. Verizon told me this was their only choice in this size. It is too slippery to hold, and with the cover, it is too hard to extract from the belt holster. Half the time I can not retrieve the phone...

Nothing.

Poor touch response. Slow charging. Inconsistent operation. Mediocre sound.

Consumer review (cnet.com)

"Battery life sucks."

I previously owned an HTC Incredible 2 and was able to run my walking app for a 10-mile hike with plenty of battery life remaining. With the Mini, the phone is HOT before I reach 8 miles and battery usage is in the red (10% remaining). Actually, the...

Easy to use.

Battery rarely lasts a day.

Consumer review (cnet.com)

"It is a very flashy phone with a ton of pros and only 1 con."

I love it's design becasue it is waterproof, has gorilla glass, and is a great android phone. It doesn't shutdown anymore since I upgraded it to 4.4 kitckat. Over all it has more pros then cons.

It is speedy, long battery, bright screen, and is a great android phone.

It shuts down and it sometimes it can be sluggish.
