Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: an almost-flagship with smart compromises

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has an edge over many rivals

Strong outdoor visibility ; Decent primary camera handles night well ; Good build and power for the money

No significant water resistance ; Camera needs tuning ; No telephoto/zoom camera

A sensible buy for those who want the niceties of a flagship phone but can’t quite afford one. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is not cheap, but it does cost less than most with a curved glass and metal design. And its older Snapdragon processor still...

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: a marvellous mid-ranger

The mid-range Moto Edge 30 Fusion is the balance point between Ultra and Neo models and attributes itself very well indeed

Bright screen ; Slim glass and metal design ; Powerful previous-gen processor

Limited water resistance ; Non-expandable storage ; No zoom camera here

The Edge 30 Fusion is a one of those 'solid but not groundbreaking' mid-range Android phones. The curved glass front and back panels here provide more style than you get in most other phones at the price, plus it has a capable (albeit older) processor,...

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: Almost the best of both worlds

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion avoids becoming the awkward middle child, settling as a competent, if a bit unremarkable, mid-range smartphone

Beautiful curved display ; 68W fast charging ; 8K video recording for less

Performance could be better ; No wireless charging or 3.5mm jack ; Low IP rating

With the Edge 30 Ultra being such a pleasantly powerful surprise, there was always going to be a fairly long shadow cast over the other Edge devices. For the most part, the Fusion succeeds in escaping from that shadow and shining a light of its own....

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion does a very convincing impression of a flagship phone at a mid-range price

Flagship-like design ; Near-flagship performance ; Super clean and classy software

Mediocre battery life ; Average secondary cameras ; Only IP52 rated

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion looks and performs a lot like a flagship phone, but for £300 less. It’s not quite the complete £500 package, but there’s an awful lot to like here.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: the best budget flagship?

Moto lightly dilutes its current top tier model for the more wallet-friendly Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, to impressive results

Top-tier styling and screen ; Solid performance and battery life ; Main camera takes great photos

Misses out on wireless charging ; IP52 isn’t very much protection ; Do we really need a depth camera?

Premium-feeling, powerful and long-lasting, the Edge 30 Fusion gets an awful lot right. It sits in a sweet spot for fans of vanilla Android, but lacks one or two features that would make it a slam-dunk.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review

Motorola has a pretty solid lineup of phones as of late. A few weeks back the mobile phone legend unveiled the X30 Pro and S30 Pro in Chi

Premium build and sophisticated look.

No telephoto camera

All things considered, we liked our time with the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion a lot. It's a great phone that should seamlessly fit into most lifestyles and meet anything but the most specific and stringent requirements. It's an honest, well-rounded phone...

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: a healthy blend

Great design and performance for a much more affordable price.

Good charging speeds ; Comes with a charger ; Great screen ; Awesome audio quality for the price ; Very clear audio recording while shooting video ; Gorgeous design ; Powerful chipset

Low level of water resistance ; No wireless charging ; Only 2 years of software updates ; Camera quality is average

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review: Balance of performance and experience

For a price tag of Rs 44,999, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has specifications matching every other smartphone in its range – a 120Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 888, 50MP triple camera setup, and 68W charging to top up the 4400mAh battery. The problem is...
