Motorola Pro+ MB632

Motorola's Pro+ marries a portrait screen with full QWERTY keyboard. Does this make it the best Android messenger phone yet?

Good battery life, Portrait screen, Robust build quality

Sluggish performance, Below par keyboard, Small screen can make browsing awkward

If you are looking for a phone with a physical keyboard and the touchscreen, I would highly recommend the Blackberry Bold 9900 or the HTC Cha Cha which are both phones with better keyboards.

Motorola Droid Pro (Verizon Wireless)

The Motorola Droid Pro has an appealing BlackBerry-like form factor, but there are better smartphone choices on Verizon Wireless.

Nice design. Terrific little keyboard. Enterprise security features.

Exchange support may not work with all servers. Some bugs. Music and video players are a bit behind the curve.

Verizon adds its usual branded apps, including Skype, VZ Navigator for GPS navigation, and visual voicemail.

Plenty of business and security features

Disappointing call quality

The Droid Pro has the features and keyboard to please any business or IT professional, but call quality is disappointing.

Motorola Droid Pro (Verizon Wireless) review

Announced at CTIA Fall 2010, the Motorola Droid Pro takes aim at business users ( and BlackBerry ) by offering a full QWERTY keyboard and touch screen and enhanced security features. This combination certainly makes the smartphone the most...

The Motorola Droid Pro combines a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard into a compact design. The Android 2.2 smartphone offers enhanced security features for business users, as well as mobile hot spot capabilities.

The Droid Pro's HVGA display isn't quite as sharp as the competition. Call quality could be better. Paltry internal memory.

The enhanced security features and touch-screen-keyboard combo make the Motorola Droid Pro a nice BlackBerry alternative, but it still has some shortcomings.

In the few months that I’ve spent with the Droid Pro, I’ve been extremely pleased with the device. As a BlackBerry user, I enjoy having a nicely designed front-facing keyboard with the Android OS.
