Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Edge displays are curved screens that wrap around smartphones' sides. They are designed to complement the phone's main screen and offer increased display space for the users.

Best cameras on any phone ; Innovative design ; Superb build quality ; Fantastic screen ; Monstrous performance

Curve screen just for show ; Tricky to hold ; Costs more than S6 ; No SD card slot anymore ; Gaming hurts battery life badly

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge review

Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge curves in all the right places - it's a stunning flagship smartphone...

Stunning screen ; Premium build ; Strong video performance ; High-res music support ; Punchy, engaging sound ; Great camera ; Much improved interface

No expandable storage ; Battery life could be better

A stunning handset, inside and out. It might be pricey but it’s worth it for a phone this special

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge review: Livin' on the edge (not a prayer)

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is a radical phone. After a tepid response to 2014's Samsung Galaxy S5, the Korean giant had to do something special to stand out and get back to the top of its game. While the competition release subtle reworks of their...

Metal build and curved glass exude quality, fluid and fast experience - from Samsung software skin to handling of apps, decent camera ability and quick response, fingerprint scanner vastly improved, curved edge adds useful feature set

So-so battery life, no wireless charger in the box, no microSD, limited edge functionality compared to Note Edge, slow shutter speeds can be a problem, expensive

While the competition release subtle reworks of their flagship devices in 2015, Samsung has really gone out on a limb with the Galaxy S6 edge. It's the best looking, most radical phone of the year.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge review

Does a Galaxy S6 + curvy screen = phone perfection?

Smart, slick design ; Amazing power and performance ; Terrific screen

Themes are mostly rubbish ; No memory card slot ; Scarily expensive

It may cost as much as your first car, but that's the price you pay for a phone this special

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge review

Sure it looks cool, but it's difficult to justify

Premium, eye catching design ; Fast, slick and powerful interface ; Stunning camera

Very expensive ; Disappointing battery life ; Edge screen offers very little ; No microSD or waterproofing

The S6 Edge is a fantastic looking handset with plenty of power and an impressive camera, but a high price, poor battery performance and sub-par edge screen features stop it from achieving perfection.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge review - still great one year on

It's expensive but the Galaxy S6 Edge is the most powerful Android phone to date, and its gorgeous curves make it very desirable too

It does have some downsides, namely the arguably frippery of its curved screen, but if you're after a phone that will make others green with envy, there's nothing else that even comes close.

Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Galaxy S6 Edge comparison review

Is is worth paying extra for the dual edge phone?

Apart from a small difference in storage, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 differ mainly in price, design and the dual edge screen. The curved screen looks better in appearance but makes the phone uncomfortable and doesn't add enough functionality to...
