Samsung has made a bold statement with its Galaxy S6 range of smartphones. Plastic painted as metal and faux leather backs have been consigned to Room 101 and Samsung has finally put style and design at the core of its smartphone offering.
Stunningly beautiful ; Fantastic screen ; Decent battery life ; Speedy performance ; Great camera
Tricky to handle ; Hugely expensive ; Lacks Note features

One of the best phones out made better
Great screen ; Superb camera ; Low price for phablet
Battery life poor ; Edge screens not well used ; Easy to hit the screen accidentally
A superb phone for those in love with phablets - this is aesethetics combined with stellar performance at a decent price... just a shame the battery still suffers.

Best smartphone above 5.5in, Awards 2015. Samsung's Edge experience gets bigger and better - a seriously desirable smartphone...
Gorgeous screen ; Premium, compact build ; Great video performance ; Punchy, exciting audio with high-res support ; Strong camera
Expensive ; No expandable storage
A superb performer across the board, this is the big-screen phone to opt for right now

It really is just a bigger S6 Edge
Quality screen ; Strong camera
Battery life suspect ; Edge tab under-used

It's a bigger S6 Edge and that's awesome
Quality screen ; Strong camera ; Iconic design
Battery life not brilliant ; Edge tab under-used ; Slippery

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a stunning phone to look at, one that has literally turned heads in our 10 days of daily use. Its curved screen edges make its design stand out from the crowd, so if ever you wanted a phone to get tongues wagging then,...
It's head-turningly incredible to look at, fast user experience without overheating, better battery life than S6 edge, great camera results, excellent fingerprint scanner
Screen vignette, no microSD slot, limited edge functionality compared to Note Edge, slow shutter speed nuisance, very expensive
As the big brother to the already excellent S6 edge, the edge+ gets off to a flying start, showing off visual design flair like no other.

These days it's hard to keep a lid on new smartphone releases and we think it's safe to say that everybody and their dogs knew that the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus (or Galaxy S6 edge +, to give it its Google-unfriendly moniker) was coming.

You'll need a thick chunk of wedge for this brilliant Edge
Superb screen ; Sublime camera ; High quality build and design
High price ; No IR transmitter
More than a blown-up S6 Edge, this big-screen beauty is also a worthy follow-up to the Note 4

Bigger screen? Check. Better use of the curved sides? Check. This supersize Android phone gives S6 Edge lovers more room to roam.
Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a compelling design, top-tier specs and excellent battery life. Its second menu for the curved display adds some useful shortcuts.
One of the most expensive handsets on the market, the Edge+'s usefulness doesn't live up to its sky-high price. Fans of removable batteries and microSD card slots will be disappointed that this has neither.
Buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ if you love the idea of a wraparound screen; otherwise, you'll be able to find less expensive phones that do nearly as much.

Do we really need a bigger edge screen phone?
At £700 the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a seriously expensive phone, and we were happy enough with the size of the regular model. If you do want a larger version then great and the increased memory and bigger battery are nice upgrades. However, the IR blaster...
