Sony Xperia SmartWatch

First Look: Is the Sony Xperia SmartWatch the first viable smart watch?

The most crucial thing, though, is that we were told the watch should last from four days to a week between charges, making it genuinely practical. Set to cost $149 (no UK price yet) it could well be the perfect accessory for Xperia handset owners.

Is Sony Ericsson's Android debut a Legend killer?

It is clear though that Sony Ericsson should stick to Android. The new UI is fantastic and if the Android 2.1 update can get on board soon, this is a phone well worth taking a long hard look at. For design fanatics, the choice between the Legend and...

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

The Xperia X10 is Sony Ericsson's flagship, and first, Android device and part of a family of three that will be hitting the market this year, the others being the X10 mini and the X10 mini pro . For a company that has struggled recently to keep pace...

Camera, big screen is great for watching videos

Timescape and Mediascape could be much better, battery life is poor, touch response isn't good enough, keyboard isn't great, numerous bugs and freezes

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 then looks ill-fated. We've drawn out some of the flaws we found above, many of which could be changed with revised software. It perhaps suggests that the X10 is arriving to market before it is really ready to do so. Sloppy...

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 review

Finally with Android 2.1 - but is it too little, too late for the X10?

Great camera ; Nice media player ; Bundled 8GB card ; Slick OS ; Easy to backup vital data

Poor text input ; Lagging system ; Poor audio quality ; Suspect battery ; No multi-touch, no proper camera flash

UPDATE: We've now got our hands on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 complete with the Android 2.1 update - lets see if it's any better or whether it's pushed SE further behind the Android pack.

A decent camera, but the customised interface isn't as snappy as other Snapdragon phones, and you're paying a premium for the luxury build quality
