A fiercely competitive budget phone

Good-looking display ; Lots of power for price ; Huge battery

Mediocre cameras ; Full of bloatware ; Some features missing at launch

The Poco X7 Pro ticks all the boxes that a cheap phone should do and then exceeds them. Compared to the competition, it's more powerful for gaming, its display is higher-res and brighter, and its battery is bigger. It’s not going to impress camera...

Poco X7 Pro review: a new budget benchmark?

The affordability champ is back in black (and yellow). The Poco X7 Pro is a lot more capable than its price suggests

Flat screen and sides are so hot right now ; Big battery and very respectable performance ; Lead camera copes well for the money

Lots of pre-loaded bloat ; 8MP ultrawide doesn’t cut it

It embraces modern design, doesn’t skimp on performance or storage, and takes a decent enough photo for the price. The X7 Pro continues Poco’s run of appealing affordable phones.

Holding out for a midrange hero? Xiaomi's Poco X7 Pro is a compelling deal.

Lovely display. Fast performance. Good battery life and speedy wired charging. IP68 water resistance. Relatively affordable.

No wireless charging. Lots of bloatware. Main camera is just OK, but ultrawide and selfie cameras are poor.
