Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ review

The most expensive Redmi Note 13 phone promises a lot for not much money. But does it deliver, or are you better off elsewhere?

Superb 120Hz screen ; Very good performance ; Premium design ; Solid battery life ; 120W charging

Hit-and-miss cameras ; Annoying software ; Only three Android version updates

The Note 13 Pro+ has superb hardware that wouldn’t look out of place on a phone costing twice the price. However, the lack of great cameras and a patchy software experience will be dealbreakers for many people.

Unimpressive battery life.

Still, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is an excellent all-round smartphone with an impressive specs sheet and an incredibly competitive price. This is the phone you should consider if your budget is about €450; there are no two questions about that.

Xiaomi's top Redmi phone can compete with flagships, but it still has some limitations.

Lovely design. Large AMOLED display. Smooth performance. Solid battery life. Fast charging. IP68 waterproof rating. Generous 512 GB of storage.

No wireless charging. Xiaomi’s MIUI software is not great. Loads of bloatware. Camera is a mixed bag. Not sold in the US.
