BenQ FP222Wa review

A 22-incher that promises much

Good value ; Well specced

Poor colour reproduction

It has its faults, particularly if you're looking for an entertainment-centred monitor, but is a solid performer otherwise

BenQ FP222WH review

BenQ's latest 22 inch TFT won't win any catwalk prizes.

Who said it had to be exciting? Capable, with plenty of ports, at a fair price.

BenQ FP222W H review

The Benq FP222W H is an update of last year's FP222W, now with an added HDMI port.

Overall the Benq FP222W H is a middle-of-the-road monitor. It does the job without being outstanding. A strong point worth keeping in mind is the low weight. If you're not too worried about colour control, the Benq FP222W H is a good monitor to keep as...

BenQ FP222W

The flat-panel market has gone haywire. It seems that 20in is no longer enough, with manufacturers falling over themselves to jump up to 22in - and there are some modestly priced examples, such as the BenQ FP222W. Mind you, we're not complaining.

You shouldn't expect ravishing results from a 22in flat-panel that costs just £245, but the BenQ comes as a pleasant surprise. While the specifications aren't outstanding, they're not disastrous either, and the FP222W works well within its limited...

BenQ FP222W H [Mac]

Over time monitors are getting bigger, cheaper and somewhat more stylish. Has all of this come at the expense of ease of use? The Macworld team checks out six worthy competitors.

Benq FP222WH monitor

No messing about, this is a good screen The Benq FP222WH is what you might call a no-nonsense monitor. It has a plain silver bezel, with a blank front – there are no buttons or controls on the ...

While the FP222W specifications aren't outstanding, they're not disastrous either, and the BenQ works well within its limited remit. This is only the beginning of the 22in revolution, but if you don't want to wait to see what's coming out in a few...

Decent specifications, above-average response rate, good brightness and contrast ratings, attractive and colourful graphics, precise text

Confusing menu system, buttons should have been on the front
