Hardware

The key issue is price and here the Hanns-G HL272 is very competitive at a shade under £200. In itself, the display is very large, decent quality, but not the best. The design is slim and stylish and there are multiple inputs, so if you’re looking for...

HKC 2219A

A decidedly budget monitor in looks and features, the 2219A has only basic image quality controls and a dull picture, and doesn't support HDCP over its DVI input

HP LD4200

Here's a warning: don't buy this unless you can find your own stand (Amazon does not carry the stand for this TV. In typical HP fashion, they design a wicked 42-inch touchscreen when there is nothing like it on the market and then manage to muck it up...

Hanns G HG191AP 19 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor / Silver/Black

Disappointing Resolution. I cant get mine to work at the Max Resolution: 1440 x 900 / 75 Hz quoted just get an out of range message. Just 1280 X 800 and below works. The box shows its 1440 X 900 res capable though so - bemused!

Targus ASF220WEU

I bought this screen expecting what I see on 3m and other brands. Not what happened. In many lighting conditions, only at a 90 degree angle you stop seeing the screen. Not privacy screen at all. Screen darkener yes, privacy no. Waste of money.

Epson Liyama ProLite T1730SR-1 17 inch Monitor

I've bought this monitor for L250. I consider this as an excellent value for money. However, I would not pay for it much more than that. The Monitor has an excellent sturdy stand which is what I would expect from touch screen monitor. It works well...

LG L1954TQ

This attractive monitor offers good image quality, but is let down by a poor touch-sensitive menu system and a reliance on PC software for image quality settings.

Microsoft Office Word 2007 Plain & Simple (Plain & Simple)

I don't much care for Office Word 2007 as now I can't spot how to do things I could do before because it is so counter-intuitive. I found using this book quicker than using the 'Help' function in Office. It has a comprehensive index which is essential...

With less than impressive viewing angles, mediocre image quality combined with poor price-performance, the LG Flatron W2271TC can't compete with the best models in its class.
