Brilliant image reproduction for the price

Great for gaming

 

I've had this monitor for over a year now for my gaming PC. it's great for 1080p gaming and now I am ordering a second one so I can multitask even better. the 23" wide screen is great. has brilliant colors

if you bump your table the stand wobbles alot

I've been using this (S2340Lc) for many months without issues. Even though I use it with the VGA cable, I'm very happy with the brightness and image quality.

The stand does wobble slightly (only when I accidentally bump the table with my chair or something). This doesn't bother me, just mentioning it since I know it does bother some people.

Broken 4 months out of warranty

 

I was very happy to own this monitor until yesterday and Dell really disappointed me on this one since I just purchased another 2340M from them.

Thin bezel, nice color accuracy and low turn-on latency.

Well, the quality fell short just 4 month after warranty expired which is quite annoying considering Dell has been always regarded as the top brand of monitor. The screen started having uneven brightness from area to area and from time to time which...

Great monitor but won't buy a dell again.

 

After owning a monitor like this i wouldn't consider buying one that has less than 3 years of warranty.Lucky monitor failed within the warranty window or i would have been stuck with a 1 year old monitor that is broken.

Great new style of bezel that makes it look nice.

After 8 months of ownership display is failing showing a green hue to to the left side, getting repetitive stuck images.Has only 1 year of warranty.

Nice, but analogue

 

Good technology but a fail on the user interface. I am writing this review and playing battlefield 4 on my souped up computer off an analogue cable because the ports were poorly engineered.

Nice size, resolution clarity brightness

The DVI-I cannot accept a standard sized male due to the angle of the ports.

Dell S2340L

 

I purchased two, and one of them now has slight red stripes on the left side of the screen and will retain images for a bit. They can become very dim, which is nice for late nights.

Great Monitor

 

Beautiful picture, no negative issues in the 2 months I've owned it. It even looks great when it's turned off. I have one question...It's not a touch screen so why do people complain about fingerprints?
