If your only concern is the very best image and text quality, Hitachi's CML190B is for you. But at a price that flirts with $1000, this LCD's basic design seems a bit skimpy.

19" CML190B

Superb gradations from white to black seem to be the hallmark of Hitachi displays, whether analog or flat-panel digital, and the Hitachi CML190B was no exception

In general, the Hitachi CML190B is a very good display with a couple of minor problems that I hope will be resolved in the next iteration.

Hitachi CML190SXWB 19-inch TFT Display Review

Among the amenities we find a side mounted cable connection causeway for easy access, a swivel base, and support for both analog and digital DVI display signals.

Overall, I'd have to say we are very satisfied with this latest display from Hitachi. The previous LCD monitor we reviewed from this manufacturer fell below the line of what we believe they are capable of producing, so it was reassuring to see that...
