LG 22MP55HQ-P

I bought this for my mother because her job requires her to work at home sometimes when she's not at her office. She just turned 47 and her eyesight isn't the best and she uses a 10" netbook to work on at home and she needed something she could see a...

1: excellent price, I got it on sale for $99 ; 2: colors are vibrant and blacks are black. It's what you'd expect from a standard ips. It's just as good as my Samsung 27" 2560x1440 pls monitor I use from what I can tell but I don't do any type of work...

Inputs are lacking. Only one vga and one hdmi

Garbage, LG is SUPER SHADY

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS MODEL IS A PIECE OF JUNK. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. ps AUTO DIMS DURING DARK SCENES IN MOVIES/VIDEO GAMES AND YOU CAN'T DISABLE IT. LG REALLY DOESN'T GIVE A FLYING FIG ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. JUST GETTING YOUR MONEY, LEAVING...

Affordable, Contrast is decent

Dead Pixels in less than 2 months. Newegg's awesome 30 day return policy means im stuck w the piece of garbage. Called LG and they told me they would not replace it. After 20 minutes of asking for a manager, the guy said he could swap it out with a...

Screen Size is misleading

It seems like a decent monitor for the price

This is not a 22" monitor. It is a '22" class' monitor. The monitor measures 21.5" from corner to corner. If you are getting this monitor to put together a dual monitor setup, make sure that you are matching the screen sizes

Incredible

Preface: There's a reason why this monitor was going to get 5 Stars anyways. The monitor I'm comparing this too (and replaced it with) is an 8 Year old Sceptre / DCLCD TN Panel. Still has the "Vista Compatible" sticker on it. I never really thought...

Price ; Lightweight ; Thin ; Looks Great ; Solid Stand, doesn't wobble much ; Bezel isn't offensive, not too large or too glossy ; Matte Screen ; Brilliant Color ; Bright Whites ; Deep Blacks ; Solid Response Time for gaming ; Great Color Reproduction

No DVI input ; Honestly, who uses VGA still? The only reason I can think of is for older laptops without an HDMI output or something. I would have preferred an HDMI and DVI input but seeing as most computers, as well as my rig, have HDMI out, it's not...

LG 22MP55HQ-P

I love LG monitors and this did not let me down. It has high quality and it's very big

The stand is a bit wobbly, but I don't move it much so this is not a big issue

Solid Monitors

I'm happy with LG for the 5th time now. I have two of these set up on a dual monitor mount for a workstation and they are great. Very good contrast and size.

Adjustable, nice size for programming. LG

Great Monitor for Cheap

I'd say this monitor is worth it for $150 or less right now, but it depends on what else you can find. I could have gone with one of those off-market Shimians that I mentioned above, but as I mentioned the backlights are often pretty bad and I was...

This monitor looks great with minimal fuss - all you really need to change is the brightness ; The IPS panel is a nice upgrade for me - I use an IPS Wacom pen display tablet, and moving images from that to my previous TN screen was painful ; The size...

Cannot differentiate well between very light greys (whites above 250 - see the "White Saturation" test at lagom.nl) ; The monitor is a bit of a pain to get together - the stand snaps into the back of the panel, and it's held in place by a pretty stiff...

calibration

I forgot to add to my previous review. My calibrated settings I needed to change are: -brightness 12-48, it's up to you, i like mine low -contrast 70, needs to stay here or white gradients become wild. -black level high, i kept it there since low did...
