LG Flatron L227WT-PF

Another 22in LCD contender arrives making outrageous claims about contrast ratio, can it possibly deliver?

LG Flatron L227WT review

LG's L227WT is the most expensive 22in monitor here, but it also has the best image quality and is the best-looking.

LG L227WT

This review has been translated from Danish and contains the introduction, measurements, pictures and a conclusion. Some sections have been excluded from the translation, however. Future reviews will be fully translated.

Nice design and quality; Rapid response time

Poor viewing angles; Some backlight bleeding

Even though L227WT has somewhat imprecise colours and some backlight bleeding at the bottom of the panel, it’s a recommendable monitor. The design is very nice with the glossy, black look and the construction is stable. The ergonomics are fair for a...

LG L227WTG-PF

If you're in the market for a large widescreen monitor, put the LG on your list of monitors to take a look at. Don't rely on reviews to make this choice though – choosing a monitor is best done in a computer store. You'll likely be surprised at the...

Died 5 minutes ago

Worked very well for 3 years and 5 months

The LG monitor just died 5 minutes ago. It worked well during the 3 year warranty period. Continued on for another 5 months and then died. I will never buy another product from LG

Unbeatable Value

This is a monitor, namely with fast response time and being oriented for multi-purpose including fast paced gaming. It is nothing but pure win on every aspect in respect for what it was designed to do and it gives respectable rivalry to CRTs for FPS...

The packaging it came with was nice and snug, no dead/stuck pixels or discoloration. I've tested pretty much every color that you would normally encounter in regular use or as close to regular as you would expect from someone that watches tons of pure...

Came with a VGA, but a quick trip down to the local store and about 15-20 bucks will fix that for most (DVI-D fwiw which also means that you get the awesomeness of HDCP programing namely linking devices to be commanded by one device and the digital...

Great monitor

The blue LED power button matches the lights on my computer case... an unexpected plus!

Works great! No dead pixels, nice resolution, an excellent monitor

As others have mentioned, a little light leaks through the top and bottom but it isn't very noticeable, even when on a black screen. The screen itself is also can get some pretty strong glare, but the right setup should be able to avoid that

Great picture, but no tilt

I remember when a little 1024x768 LCD cost over a grand, so I recognize the irony when I complain this monitor is a bit small. My CRT supported 1600x1200. This monitor is 1680x1050, and I miss those vertical pixels. A larger monitor would have meant...

I moved from a $650 Viewsonic P225fb to this LCD, which I chose because of the brand, refresh rate, size, and price. I could have bought three of these for what I paid to get the Viewsonic! And yet, the picture quality of the LG is infinitely better...

There is no tilt and the monitor has a narrow viewing angle, compared to others I've seen. As long as you are directly in front of the monitor, or have it turned to face you, the picture is great. But the picture fades as you move to the sides, up or...
