Logitech G5 - Gaming Mouse

Just when Riyad thought that the MX518 was the perfect mouse, Logitech had to go and prove him wrong.

Once again Logitech has produced a first rate gaming mouse with features that you simply won’t find anywhere else. I thought it would be quite a while before I found a mouse better than the MX518, but I was wrong. If you're serious about gaming, you...

Logitech G5 review

A well-crafted, perfectly balanced mouse

It isn't cheap, but with a mouse this smooth and precise, your frags per pound will undoubtedly justify the outlay

Logitech G5

Logitech's G5 mouse is one of a new breed of super high precision laser mice that have begun to appear on the market. For the average user, a standar...

Pinpoint accuracy, adjustable weight, on-the-fly sensitivity changes

Accuracy problems on dark surfaces

The Logitech G5 is without a doubt one of the best mice on the market. Assuming you are not using your mouse on a dark surface, you'd be hard pressed to do better than this.

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black) review: Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black)

Easy to use, on-the-fly sensitivity changer; customizable weighting system; updated design includes two thumb-side buttons; new higher sensitivity laser sensor; fully cooked Vista support.

Thin thumb buttons might be tough to use for those with large hands; electric-blue styling reminds us of a SpikeTV sports drink commercial (for some this might be a "good").

Logitech finally earns a CNET Editors' Choice award with this update to its flagship gaming mouse. An extra thumb button, an updated laser sensor, and more convenient and flexible customization options than the competition make this mouse easy to...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse

Logitech's G5 Laser Mouse has all the features a picky right-handed gamer would want. From customizable sensor resolution to removable weights, it's easy to make the G5 your own. But for a few nitpicks, the G5 is an awesome mouse for gaming and even...

Customizable weight and sensor resolution let you tailor the feel of the mouse to different activities; 2,000dpi maximum-resolution laser sensor provides the highest sensitivity available.

Designed for righties; only one thumb-side button.

We can't say that we've ever wished our mouse weighed just 1.5 grams more, but if you're a gamer with the accuracy of an Army sniper--or hope to become one--you will appreciate the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse's vast customizability.

Thin thumb buttons might be tough to use for those with large hands ; Electric-blue styling reminds us of a SpikeTV sports drink commercial (for some this might be a "good")

Finally, we can't help but mention the G5's electric-blue, cracked-earth design on the buttons and palm surface. Logitech has never been shy about giving its gaming mice personality, and while it's not patently offensive, the new G5 does feel like it's...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse - Battlefield 2142 Special Edition

If you're a fan of Battlefield this is the mouse to get, but try to get it for the same price as the basic edition -- it's not really worth the extra AU$20 otherwise.

One of the best gaming mice on the market ; Excellent level of customisation ; Great feel and ergonomics ; Works on a greater number of surfaces out of the box

No extra features ; More expensive than the vanilla G5

N.B. Since this review was written, Logitech have advised us that the mouse should now be available through most IT outlets.

Logitech G5 Mouse Review: Good for the Gamer, Good for the Grandma

The Logitech G5 is a gaming mouse. At least, that's what it is often touted as - and to the average user, that isn't always good news. Gaming mice are expensive, and often uncomfortable for daily use. Can the G5 break that mold, or is it for headshots...
