Brother's $180 MFC-790CW color inkjet multifunction printer has a tempting array of goodies, but offers lackluster performance. Despite its aspirations, the MFC-790CW can't compete with other machines in its price range, such as the HP OfficeJet J4680.

Easy to use and on screen menus remove the need to look back at the handbook. Does what it says on the tin. Great for home and small business (few users).

Build quality is good enough for home use but not for a busy office with too many different (&clumsy) users.
