Decent-quality photo prints; fast; includes a battery; stylish, compact design; Mac and PC compatible.

Costly; starter ink ribbon makes only five prints; can't print directly from digital media.

With its own battery for on-the-go printing, this tiny-but-expensive portable photo printer is still a good value.

Canon CP-300

The CP-300 produces color prints that equal the sharpness and durability of prints from film negatives. The printer's resolution is 300x300 dpi, more than adequate for a crisply detailed postcard sized image from any 2 megapixel or greater camera, or...

The printer also covers each print with a clear, protective overcoating that protects it from the effects of sunlight and weather. The prints from the CP-300 are at least as durable as photographic prints from film
