HP PhotoSmart A526 review

Good things certainly do come in small packages

Bargain price ; Great print quality ; Good memory card support

Slow ; Basic feature set

The HP A526 is amazingly cheap considering how effective it is. It supports all major cards and, while it isn’t the fastest printer, it produces some great-quality prints

HP Photosmart A526 review

Despite being one of the cheapest compact photo printers we've ever reviewed, HP's Photosmart A526 still has a colour screen and support for direct printing from memory cards and digital cameras with PictBridge support.

HP Photosmart A526 Home Photo Centre printer

The Photosmart A526 is simple to use but very slow. The prints are worth the wait, though.

The HP Photosmart A526's minimal-options approach to printing photos will be a relief for some, a frustration for others. But it's the slow printing that dampens its value somewhat, even if the photos are worth the wait.

HP Photosmart A526 Compact Photo Printer

The HP Photosmart A526 Compact Photo Printer is HP's low-end dedicated photo printer for 4-by-6 photos and 4-by-12-inch panoramas.

Small. Lightweight. Prints 4-by-6s and up to 4-by-12-inch panoramas.

Has trouble printing photos with dark areas.

HP PhotoSmart A526 review: HP PhotoSmart A526

HP PhotoSmart A526

Low price; dead easy to use; easily portable; cute.

Fewer onboard features than the competition; requires a PC connection for image editing and enhancement; slow; photo quality needs some improvement.

The HP Photosmart A526 snapshot printer is meant to be simple and easy to use, but we found it simplified to a fault. There aren't enough options in standalone mode, and it's not as fast as the competition.
