An immersive picture from this talented budget performer...
Natural colour palette ; Immersive picture ; Easy set up ; Great value
Black levels lacking depth ; Detail levels could be better
A great performer at the price, with superbly balanced colours and an immersive picture

The gold standard for Blu-ray colour, but is this quickdraw projector late to the party?
Blu-ray-tuned Cinema preset ; Powerful speaker ; Easy set-up ; Sleek & compact design
Rec. 709 is for HD only ; Mild rainbow effect ; Some judder ; No digital file playback
A modicum of DLP rainbow effect, some so-so black levels and a hint of film judder can't prevent the W2000 from offering one of the loveliest, most involving Blu-ray performances so far from an affordable quickdraw DLP projector.

BenQ release a home entertainment projector that boasts being able to resolve Rec.709 colour for HD viewing and ISF certification. So, where's the catch?
Decent colour performance to Rec.709 out of the box ; Excellent 3D performance ; Very Good motion handling ; Very Good video processing ; Decent input lag for gamers
Mediocre Blacks ; Missing shadow detail ; Noisy in both high and low lamp modes ; Some rainbow effect
This is not a high performance home cinema projector and it doesn’t pretend to be. It is marketed as a home entertainment machine for use with large screen sports, gaming and movies. It is also aimed at users who will have light coloured ceilings and...

BenQ's $2499 W2000 provides very strong picture quality, including a 3D picture which we doubt could be surpassed. It's high value for money.

Wow!! This took 10 mins to set up (including hanging the screen!!) - it's sooooo easy, and the results out of the box are great. Superb colour and no real problem with darks (so long as your light conditions complement). I know people who have spent...

I bought this to replace a slightly older and less expensive HD projector and have been wowed by the step in quality. The pictures have more depth and clarity and are easy to see even in bright rooms. I noticed the 'rainbow' effect on my old projector...

I believe is the best projector for the money. Picture is absolutely outstanding, the colours and blacks are just amazing. The noise from the fan is in a decent level. It made our house very special, every weekend my friends coming over for a movie...
Consumer review (richersounds.com)
We wanted a home projector to watch old video clips but didn't really know what we needed esp. as my camera is 15 years old. So we needed the 3 way inputs, no problem. Amazing quality; easy to use; absolutely delighted!!!
Consumer review (richersounds.com)
I had no choice because this projector is the only one in this price range with the throw ratio I needed (~1.15). It provides a crisp and bright 100-inch image from a 2.7m distance. I use a grey screen to improve contrast, the effect is superb. It is...
