I originally purchased an 8500ub, but it was defective. Epson sent two replacements, but they had firmware issues (mistake made by whoever repairs Epson projectors). The third time they offered to upgrade me to this years model (8700ub). I was very...

Customer service, THX certified, excellent colour, inky blacks, generous horizontal/vertical lens shift, decent brightness, two year warranty (90 day bulb), picture quality overall is amazing

Actual noise production will vary form one unit to the next (still low overall), eco mode adds a little green to the picture, lens shift knobs/dials are a bit rough
