Sim2 Domino D10 review

A cut-price contender displays upmarket performance talents

Price ; Features ; Many aspects of picture quality

Slight sharpness and noise level issues at times ; Not that bright

Sim2's first budget model comfortably holds its own against some seriously stiff competition

Sim2's first foray into the entry level projector space isn't exactly cheap, or for that matter pretty. But the Domino D10 looks great where it really counts.

Crisp, clear images ; Easy setup ; Good range of projection distances

Comparatively costly ; Ugly design

We were impressed with the D10's video performance -- arguably more than one could expect to be from what is only a 720p projector. Still, we can't overlook the asking price, and it leaves us wondering-- can Sim2 actually make a true "budget"...

"1024x768, or in layman's terms, 720p" Might want to check your numbers - last time I looked 720p was 1280x720
