ZTE's Spro 2 is a feature-packed portable projector with 4G LTE and access to Android apps, but its projections could stand to be a lot brighter.
Projector! ; Great touchscreen ; Built-in battery also doubles as charger ; Handy Wi-Fi hotspot ; Compact
Projections aren't bright enough ; Audio lag with Bluetooth headphones ; Built-in speakers sound tinny ; Pricey
ZTE's Spro 2 is a feature-packed portable projector with access to Android apps, but its projections could stand to be a lot brighter.

The ZTE Spro 2 is part projector, part Android device, and part Wi-Fi hotspot, designed to project content like business presentations and YouTube videos over its 4G LTE connection.

LAS VEGAS -- In addition to the Grand X Max+, Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE took the wraps off its Spro 2, the successor to its original Wi-Fi hotspot/image projector, today at CES 2015. The device is a multifunctioning Swiss army knife of sorts. It...
With the new Spro 2, ZTE's offbeat hybrid is really coming into its own. Its look is more polished and compelling, and the improved display and UI translates to a much smoother experience. While it still may not convince everybody, and it's difficult...

It's a projector, mobile hotpot, and a smartphone. True, there's a higher degree of versatility with this thanks to its included set of ports, like its full-sized HDMI and USB 3.0 ports, as well as its access to the full power of the Android...
All-in-one projector solution ; Full Android experience ; Projection is pretty usable ; Extensive set of ports ; Reasonable outright cost for a portable projector
Dull, straightforward design ; High power mode for projector requires being plugged in ; Expensive on-contract price

Getting a projector changed my life. It turned my living room into a movie theater, and my video game sessions into epic arena battles. But there are still some limits to what my little Dell projector can do, and that's where ZTE's Spro 2 comes in.
The Spro 2 is a pretty awesome device, but it’s also just a toy. You probably don’t need an Android-powered projector, especially when the dumb alternative is a lot cheaper and won’t add an extra $10 to your monthly data plan to boot. Then again, if...

not a bad device. Projector image is decent enough to enjoy movies as long as the device is not to far away and the image is stretched out to far. hot spot capabilities is just like any other hotspot on the market so nothing special there. only problem...

I bought this over a year ago and used it twice. It was a fun gadget that I could I've spent my money on something less cool looking that worked a hundred times better.
