Easy to install ; Sharp 1080p video ; Accurate motion alerts ; Free cloud storage ; Wide viewing angle ; Works with IFTTT and voice commands

Cannot be installed on some doors ; Camera angle is less than ideal ; Some barrel distortion

The Remo+ DoorCam 2 is a wireless camera that you hang over the top of your door. It offers sharp 1080p video and free cloud storage, but it won’t fit on all doors.

This battery-powered wireless camera slips over the top of your door and can be up and running in minutes.

Easy installation on most front doors ; No drilling or fastening required ; Good video image

No doorbell function ; Won’t fit over doors with ornate features ; Limited motion zone and sensitivity settings

The Remo+ DoorCam 2 is an interesting device for renters and those who can’t set up a conventional video doorbell. It was easy to set up, will be easy to remove, and it worked well. There is little competition in its niche, so it’s worth considering if...

Overall I have been very pleased with the Remo+ DoorCam 2. It has been reliable and has had very few false motion detections, even with the many squirrels I have running around.
