To the owners of this w/Frimware 1.0

At least it will now have TRIM support for Win 7 and will retain it's original lightning fast speed:) This is my third review on this item and thought I'd clue a few people in, and if this works like when it was new and stays just as fast over time,...

If your the owner of an older X64 with Firmware 1.0, RMA item back to Corsair for a brand NEW unit with Firmware 2.0-2.1.... WooooWHoooo ; Fast as new again, guess it will be new from what I was just told by phone

95% chance you will not be able to manually update frimware to 2.0 from "Corsair's tech support forum" even if done properly ; RMA: 14-21 day wait or less if in-stock @ Corsair.. Am still waiting after a week already, seems like forever so I call them...

Wrong product, wrong vendor. DO NOT BUY!

Corsair's shameful support forum is laughable. Spend some time and study the posts before purchasing. The moderators and administrators won't allow healthy discussions, and posts that don't violate the forum rules are edited and deleted depending on...

1. Fast out of the box ; 2. Firmware 2.x supports TRIM if you can find it ; Cons make the above two items irrelevant

1. No real support other than an RMA ; 2. No TRIM on the drives before the 2.x firmware ; 3. No actual plan to release and update to the 1.x firmware ; 4. No Garbage Collection on the X series (can validate on forum) ; 5. Shameful support forum (see...

Corsair Extreme Series CMFSSD-64D1 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Very fast. Price is reasonable considering the general prices of SSD at current. Corsair has great customer service

No TRIM support yet. Knocked an egg off for that

He's right, getting slower... guy below:( my 2nd review..

I took a chance on a friends advice(and knowing "Corsiar" 's name for what used to be quality) and because they were sold out of my flavor at the time. AND NOW I HAVE A SSD THAT WILL BE WORTHLESS VERY SOON and was a $240 waist of time and money! BUY...

Fast as lightning at first, even as only main drive... Have Raptor secondary drive... Lots of video security, DVR, DVD recording going to it, ect ect.. BUT

No TRIM support, ouch! They slow down over time, started at a 7.1 rating, now down to 6.8 and dropping over the last couple months.. Corsair better get their $&%@ together soon or it was a $240 waist for me.. The two other chioces I had when I bought...

Great performance, but unreliable and terrible after purchase support

Utterly disappointed in Corsair's quality of service. Five full days to simply get an RMA #. Once I received one, it stated 3-5 days to process the replacement and 2-4 days to ship out (to my location). It has now been more than double their maximum...

Purchased this to put in my '09 Macbook Pro 13" (Unibody). Performance was of course tremendous over the stock/oem 5400rpm drive that comes in the Macbook. While I didn't notice much of a power savings (I didn't really keep track), I did notice a drop...

Well, where to begin... After multiple other companies producing similar (barefoot based) SSD's were continuously releasing firmware updates to support the latest TRIM features, Corsair doesn't seem to care that it's largely enthusiast customer base...

Not all the drive that you think

It does start off very fast

Unknown to me and I am sure most of you this drive will slow down over time. There is no way to "Trim" this drive. If you read up on SSD drive it has a very odd way of writing data on blocks that have had date written on them before. This drive can not...

Nice on XP

On a 500g WD took 35 minutes to backup entire drive. With this drive to 5 minutes to restore. Very nice speed, just not happy with the other OS and cost of these things is still outrageous, had been waiting patiently for some time now that the price...

When formatting moves along at a nice clip. Very responsive to loading programs

Tried to load vista 64 ultimate and would freeze up, took over 40 minutes to load, gave up and loaded xp with no problems
