I don't know where these two people got their speakers, or what happened to them to make them think they're rubbish, but I got the SRSD21 system from Play around 2 years ago and they are amazing. Even today they are as good as new. Play your music...

I bought these recently (not from play) and would agree that the sound is rather tinny, though they do go loud, thats if you don't enjoy hearing whats being sang! I don't expect to get superior sound quaity for 30 odd quid, but to be honest expected...

Bought these to replace my old broken altec ones, i was dissapointed and have given them away, the satellite speakers are to light to stay in place and the volume control is a nightmare, as for the sound, it is just loud and 'tinny', a bit too pricey imo.

I wish I waited to buy because it's actually $10 cheaper right now than what I paid, but I didn't know it would go on sale even more...

Everything about this speaker is superb!! I love it! I can now enjoy my music with full surround bass!!

The sound remains clear through very loud volumes, the bass adds great depth, but i have a problem stretching the chords from the floor to my desk, another 3" would have been perfect.
