I FOUND THESE SPEAKERS IN A PAWN SHOP AND HOOKED THEM UP TO A SONY RECEIVER AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD AS I EXPECTED THEY DO HOW EVER MAKE GREAT SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS BUT CAN NOT HANDLE LOUD MUSIC AND DEEP BASS I AM GLAD I DID NOT BUY...

I initially wanted the Sony SSMF415 or SSMF500H. But for $80.00, I couldn't pass these up. Let me say, for the price these are very good speakers for DVD front or to use as surrounds for music. For those who like rock, rap, or any other hard bass/loud...

This is a great pair of speakers for $120. They can't quite handle my receiver (see above) which is 100W, much less 150W. But then again my receiver is way out of their league. These sound really clear but the bass starts to crap out at higher volumes....
