The Samsung SU2912 vacuum cleaner is a top of the range vacuum cleaner at a fraction of the price of other vacuum cleaners of a similar quality. It is easy to use, of good design, visually functional and is very powerful indeed.

Really easy to use. Bought it for my 97 year old gran who loves it.

Bit heavy for her to lift but she lives in a bungalow so not really an issue for stairs etc

Great suction for a cheaper model. Not too noisy or heavy either. I've had some awful hoovers in the past but this is a great buy. I have one particular carpet that's like Velcro to dirt, and what would have taken 10 mins vacuuming now takes 2mins. I...

The lever on the removable dirt chamber sticks out too much at the front, meaning that even on the lowest incline the hoover can't get under the sofa/cabinets, etc.

good hoover for carpets as you can lower the brushes to give a good clean. long enough hose to clean the stairs.

not good on wooden floors. if you lower the hoover to give it enough suction to pick up, the brushes leave scratch marks on wooden floors, and if you don't lower it, then it doesn't pick up enough.

great suction, really powerful.

collection cup is not massive so you do need to empty it regularly, which to be fair is easy. I never quite worked out where on of the attachments is supposed to live, so just keep it in a drawer.

Picksup brilliantly, easey to empty, attachments easy to use.

If you put on wrong height setting you could damage carpet because suction becomes so strong, I pulled out a couple of strands of my new carpet then realized probably should have read manual better .
