initially the unit did not work properly

 

cools the room quickly and it is very quiet.

the fan remains on the lowest setting during energy saver mode.

Watch out for condensation!

 

Dead silent at low speeds, produces large amounts of VERY cold air

Condensation can get into controls, runs constantly even in energy saver mode
