G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB DDR4-2666 Review: Voluminous Value For B360 & H370

For Core i5 owners on Intel's locked platform, this might be the perfect 32GB kit.

Far cheaper than competing DDR4-2666 kits, with similar performance ; Highly tunable for further latency reduction

More “fast enough” than fast ; All settings above DDR4-2133 require XMP ; Costs more than same-brand DDR4-3200 C16

The further we get from last year’s H370/B360 chipset launch, the more inadequate its DDR4-2666 limit appears. Fortunately, G.Skill’s Ripjaws V allows board buyers who got stuck with this low data rate to pay only a very small penalty for their prior...

G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-2666 16GB Review: V for Value?

Our search for the ultimate, modern DDR4-2666 kit continues with G.Skill's moderately-priced CAS 15 kit. Does cheaper mean better?

XMP timings at motherboard-default 1.20V ; Supports manual timing reduction at 1.35V ; Good overall performance ; Nice price

No secondary XMP (such as DDR4-2400) ; Highest non-XMP data rate is DDR4-2133

G.Skill’s Ripjaws V F4-2666C15D-16GVR may be outgunned by its competitor’s legacy kits, but as supplies of those dwindle, this one could become the best DDR4-2666 choice.

G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB DDR4-3000 CL15 memory review - FunkyKit

G.Skill as probably the only memory manufacturer was prepared with whole new DDR4 line for the Intel Skylake premiere. Even though already month has passed, we can barely see on the market any other, higher frequency DDR4 memory kits than G.Skill. By...

High performance ; High overclocking potential ; Great looks ; Well priced ; Compatible with Z170 motherboards ( I shouldn’t even add it to the Pros but looking at the competition it really is worth to add )

None worth to mention

Once again we can see great memory kit from G.Skill. We had absolutely no problems with stability or performance using Ripjaws V 2x8GB DDR4-3000 memory kit. Even XMP profile is working as it supposed to. I’m saying even as many available memory kits...
