TEAC's MCDV10 sounds good on paper, with integrated CD, DVD, Digital TV and MP3 playback. Actually using it, however, reveals a rather more woeful state of affairs.
Integrated SD digital tuner ; Can use USB Flash drives for MP3 playback ; Integrated DVD player
Display screen is awful ; Cluttered remote ; Ordinary 2-channel sound ; Some USB flash drives not supported ; Lacks external inputs
The final nail in the MCDV10's coffin is the asking price. On paper, AU$399 for an LCD TV with inbuilt tuner, DVD player and USB MP3 playback seems like a bargain. Once you realise that the TV/DVD part of the playback is unwatchable for anything longer...

I use this junky home theater TEAC MCDV10. Its display result sucks. No any brightness, no any contrast in display. Its speaker positioning is also bad. I don't prefer this critical alien. Its function is not understandable.
Nothing special
No HDMI ; Expensive ; Slow disc loading ; Ordinary remote ; Slow boot cycle

Good quality components, reasonable sound. Plays DVD and CDs well. The screen also plays the DVDs so it's almost like a mini TV. I've used mine for a number of years and now it's been passed on to my daughter.
Sometimes the screen can be annoying but you can turn it off.
