The inexpensive Insignia NS-2BRDVD Blu-ray player offers terrific high-def visuals and an excellent design--but it handles DVD upconversion poorly.
Excellent images from Blu-ray Disc ; Well-designed remote
Poor at upconverting standard DVDs
If you're looking for a bargain in a Blu-ray player, the Insignia NS-2BRDVD is the best you can buy--but only if you're willing to rely on another source for upscaling your standard-definition DVDs

Insignia NS-2BRDVD - Blu-ray disc player
Relatively inexpensive; solid Blu-ray image quality with most movies; USB port for accessing photos and music.

The Insignia NS-2BRDVD is an underfeatured and slow-loading Blu-ray player, but it provides basic Blu-ray playback at a bargain.

Bestbuy has this model in stores for a close out price of $99.00, on website it still shows for $199.00. There is a new firmware for this player on the Insignia website. It is a must for playback of newer Fox titles with the latest copy protection....
Above average Blu-ray playback. Decent upsampling on standard DVD. Good price point
Slow load times. No BD Live.Remote leaves a lot to be desired
