nice camera for a nice price

Good end result in terms of picture quality. For more difficult shots a good range of manual controls. For my needs it is a tape driven system.

Body is much bigger than modern electronics require. Having all the manual functions on a single ring control makes it impossible to use more than one at a time. Difficult to pack because of it's size.

No UK/Ireland mains lead adaptor supplied. Not straightforward to Download to MacBook at first due to lack of iLink cable (not supplied with Camcorder} Not so much bad points as ones which if rectified would give more customer satisfaction.

Sound in and out not up to spec

sharp and clear picture even with dv tape, asining menue's to the lens ring for instant use, shoulder mounting for stability 0f use,, instant manual and back light buttons. 2 shoes for accessaries and mike jack for exsternal microphone ease of use:

lcd screen could be a bit bigger but i dont use it much, have not used camcorder much yet to access anything else but having used other camera's before i do not see any problems so far;

A good solid feel when shooting, nice flip up screen and the camera looks good. Used for secondery camera work.

Not enough control without having to use the menu a lot. Would have preferred a little more outer body controls for easier ease of use.

Simple basic layout of controls, shoulder mounted, and 2 useful shoe mounts on top. Good clear LCD and large lens hood. Simple for set up and shoot

None really but requires a rather large case

fantastically usable features, particularly like the spot meter and spot focus features
