Expert review by : Robin Liss (camcorderinfo.com)
This small Panasonic Pvdv910 camcorder packs in a lot of features for an MSRP of only $1399.95. The camcorder has an 18x optical zoom, which is slightly larger than the average of about 16x. The camcorder has a very large digital zoom of 300x.

Most readers will find this review a little confusing. Here's why:
Great recording, user friendly, compact
Tape eject clumsy, flash vulnerable, dew sensor, zoom motor

The Panasonic PV-DV910 may not transform you into a Scorcese or a Lucas but it can bring a new level of memory capture to your friends and family. The camera has a three inch color LCD monitor that makes framing your subject a snap. The included...
Small lightweight

Consumer review (epinions.com)
The camera seems to have more features than one can learn in a day. In fact I think there is a tendency to forget a lot of available options that make the final video look really professional. I was quite pleased with both the picture quality and the...
light weight, dependable, good battery time, great picture and sound
too many wires, can't discard picture shots
Consumer review (epinions.com)
While it's not advertised as the leader in digital technology, the PanasonicPV-DV910 can lead anyone into the forefront of digital filmmaking or simply be used to produce high quality home videos. I recently used the Firewire port to connect the...

Poor low-light vision, even with the light
Consumer review (epinions.com)
Sliding comfortably into my hand, an aspiring director turns on the camera for the first time. In first use, I begin framing anything I can, in the beautiful 3" color LCD. I attach a pair of earphones to the built in jack, and begin to hear things...
easy to use, many options, high quality sound and video
Hard to set up on computer, no 16:9 aspect ratio

My husband and I went shopping for a new digital camera after Christmas The one that we had was not a great camera to begin with and it went on the blink after about a year. We thought that this time, we would invest in a really good one. In...
clear photo shots, lightweight, easy to use
some men with large hands may find it a little too small
Consumer review (epinions.com)
I have sporadically used camcorders in the past, and with the birth of my first son I decided to invest in a dv camcorder to relay videos back to the grandparents. I purchased two camcorders to compare them, one being the DV910, the other a JVC...
Easy to use and popular
A little too large compare to JVC's
