The K-Cup lovers brewer: the Cuisinart SS-700

 

The Cuisinart SS-700 outperforms Keurig with its own product, but it still has room to improve.

As K-Cup coffee goes, the sturdy Cuisinart SS-700 makes the best cup we tasted.

You can still make a quick, easy cup of coffee with other brewers in the same price range.

We can’t justify the purchase of this machine when we compare it with the $169 Bunn My Cafe MCU, which can make decent K-Cup coffee and a reliable cup from fresh grounds.

Replacement Unit for the first unit that was shipped broken

 

I suggest that when any Keurig unit displays the DeScale message, you do it immediately. My Breville unit displayed it, and I put it off awhile, when I did descale it, it stopped heating. But as I said, it lasted 3.5 years, so I was happy with the...

This unit was in much better condition that the first unit sent. (as stated in previous review the reservoir was cracked on the first unit and it had to be returned for replacement). Unpacked, went through the cleaning and setup and brewed my first cup...

None, so far. But I've only been using it for an hour.

It arrived with a reservoir tank that was cracked top to bottom, it had been packed by the refurbisher in that condition.I was dubious of going through the RMA for a replacement, since the first one was broken. Bu,t they don't offer a refund on this...

Leaks from the water tanks base/nip ple

 

I've started the RMA process and expect to receive a replacement. We'll see how the next one does.

Initial price was reasonable.

Leaks from the base of the water tank where a silicone connector is in the base. Add RMA shipping to original price and its not as good a deal.
