i bought these because i was looking for a cheap replacement for a set of speakers that just died on me. i was looking for something that i could play music through at a decent volume with decent bass.

Bought these a few months ago to use for music & radio in work and was very surprised by the quality. Decent, well balanced sound, and very cheap as well.

For the price these are very good indeed. Volume and sound quality is amazing, far better than one would have a right to expect for so little outlay. I strongly suspect that the reviewers complaining of poor sound quality need to adjust the output on...

Oviously these are basic speakers, however value for money is there. Sound quality is very clear, happy with my new speakers! :)

For 4.99 this speakers are a bargain, you get good sound if your exspecting better that good then spend more than 4.99 so ignore all the cheapskates who gave it 1 star.

Pretty good for what are essentially bargain basement speakers.
