Works with iPhone in phone mode. iPod menu navigation on remote. Impressive audio quality considering its size.
No rechargeable batteries. Carrying case not included. No video out.
The reasonably priced On Stage IIIP works with both iPhone and iPods, providing a full sound considering its relatively compact frame, but it has some shortcomings.

JBL On Stage Micro
The JBL On Stage Micro speaker offers a built-in iPod dock, a super compact footprint, and solid sound. It can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter, is available in a variety of color options, includes a handy remote, and can be used with any audio...
The JBL On Stage Micro speaker is lacking in bass and is a bit pricey compared to similar options. There's no case for travel.

In a world near-saturated with iPod docks, JBL still managed to carve a niche with their diminutive On Stage Micro. The battery-powered portable speaker system

The JBL On Stage Micro is a good option for iPod owners who want a cute, and compact, portable speaker that matches the player.
Built-in iPod dock ; Super compact footprint ; Solid sound ; Can be powered by batteries or AC adapter ; Variety of colour options ; Handy remote
Lacks bass ; A bit pricey compared to similar options ; No travel case
Audio performance is quite good, given the compact size of the speaker (it measures just six inches in diameter). The high-end detail gets dropped off a bit, but music sounds clear without any distortion or background hiss. The mids come through...

Overall, JBL On Stage Micro iPod dock is a good docking station for your iPod to listen to your favourite music while sitting or lying down in your room. But, in this price range, it is little expensive, considering its performance.

Doesn't offer much bass, No pass-through syncing option, Volume controls are testy
Works with all iPods and the iPhone, Can be used with other MP3 players, Small footprint, Can be run off wall power or batteries, Delivers clear audio
The JBL On Stage IIIP speaker is a reasonable performer, though music sounds a bit flat and lacking at higher volumes, and bass is definitely not its strong point. The unit does get surprisingly loud, though, and there's no distortion with the levels...

It took a while to get hold of one of these speakers, everyone was out of stock. I now know why - they are brilliant ! The sound and volume are excellent especially considering the size. Battery & mains powered, yet very portable. I haven't tried using...

I have the 200ID clock radio and that somewhat pushed me into getting another JBL dock for work. This is plenty loud enough for what I need and sounds great - I'm not an audiophile but do like decent sound from my music. I'm listening to Clapton...
Size - portability and good sound
Couldn't start genius from remote
