The Acer Revo One RL85 is a small, stylish PC intended to be your go-to home entertainment hub.
Small form factor ; Stylish design ; Impressive storage
UK specs lower ; Remote control badly designed ; Unnecessary bloatware

A desktop PC that pretends it's a TiVo
Great design ; Superb storage capacity ; Tiny footprint
Tight ports and fittings ; Lowered specs on high street model ; Poor remote control
This highly compact mini-PC is really smartly designed, save for a couple of niggles, and is great for home entertainment duties, plus it offers some useful additional features.

It's not the first time we've seen a mini PC, but the Acer Revo One RL85's dinky one-litre scale means you can wave goodbye to the bulky tower of old,

Small desktop PCs are enjoying something of a renaissance, thanks to systems such as HP's Pavilion Mini and Intel's Compute Stick . Along with the standard bearer of the category, Apple's Mac Mini , these computers appeal to both aesthetic minimalists...
The Acer Revo is an attractive mini desktop with plenty of storage for media files, which can easily play 4K video.
Basic streaming boxes or even other media-friendly PCs cost less. The included keyboard and mouse feel cheap, and most gaming is out of the question.
The Acer Revo is a do-it-all media-friendly PC that can fit anywhere.

Acer's latest gadget for the home is the Revo One which is a micro-PC, media streamer and NAS drive in one. Here's our Acer Revo One RL85 PC review.

The Acer Revo One RL85 is a miniature desktop PC but it doesn't come with a monitor. It does, however, come with a quirky remote instead of a mouse and keyboard and a very attractive price tag. Can it compete with conventional all-in-ones, or higher...

Small and attractive mini-PC
Rather expensive for what you get
The Revo One is a well-built mini-PC, and packs in a fair amount of grunt into its small chassis. The only downside is the price, which seems rather steep for a mobile-powered system.

Acer's attempt to redefine the desktop PC is an attractive, surprisingly flexible box of tricks
The version we’ve tested here won’t be available to buy in the shops. In fact, the closest configuration has an older, slightly slower Haswell-based Core i3-400 chip running at a clock frequency of 1.7GHz, has only one 2TB hard disk, has half the RAM...

Acer's Revo One small-form-factor (SFF) desktop packs enough power to handle content-creation tasks, and offers expansion options that are unheard of in such a compact PC.
