Pretty standard fare under the hood

Kids and die-hard Nascar fans should enjoy this inexpensive, themed--but otherwise typical--value PC.

Get ready to grab pole position with the Cisnet NASCAR PC.

Value price. Cool, well-designed, intricate NASCAR theme. Dual-layer DVD writer.

Software subscriptions are a bit stingy.

The Cisnet NASCAR PC has a well-done design that will appeal to NASCAR adherents, and the core components and features are fair for the price. We'd prefer that it had some more powerful features in exchange for the all the promotional trial offers, but...

NASCAR branding is done well, both inside and out; decent components for the price.

Integrated graphics mean you won't be playing the latest games without upgrading first; rebate- and trial offer-heavy package seems too anxious for your money; sloppy internal cabling; poor image quality on bundled LCD.

Cisnet's NASCAR PC will please the racing fan who's just getting into computers, but we can't imagine anyone else getting into this themed budget PC.
