Pictures and Hands on: A stylish and powerful touchscreen all-in-one with a great quad HD screen.
There is no word on an official Dell XPS One 27 price yet, but this looks like being a compelling option for those that want a single, stylish PC for there living room.

Work on it, game with it
Sheer power for gaming and content creation ; Ports, ports, and more ports ; Keeping it cool and quiet
Better break open several piggy banks ; Dull design
Don’t let its plain-to-the-point-of-boring exterior fool you. The Dell XPS Desktop (8960) is a formidable gaming PC dressed as an office cog. It makes a case for non-RGB riddled PCs, but its price might also make you spit out that beverage you’re...

This entertainment-savvy All-in-One PC is a little pricey
Handsome display ; Satisfying mouse and keyboard ; Virtually unparalleled built-in sound
Mouse and keyboard use AAA batteries ; Relatively expensive ; No HDMI-in
Though it’s ludicrously more expensive than its nearest competitor, the Dell XPS 27 is offers crisp-sounding speakers, lush Ultra HD display and – for the most part – a stellar design.

Windows 8 goes large with Dell's new touch powerhouse
Big screen ; 2560 x 1440 resolution ; Good components ; Great media capabilities ; Nice design
Bit pricey ; Underpowered graphics
The release of Windows 8 has led to a resurgence in all-in-one PCs such as the Dell XPS One 27 Touch.

Mixed feelings surface with Dell's new gaming rig
Nice design ; Decent performance
Not the best CPU ; Graphics should be better for the cash
We can't help feeling that you should be getting a bit more for your money with the Dell, but it's still a competent system all the same

Remember a while ago Dell promised that it would make a touch screen version of its huge XPS One 27 all-in-one computer? Well, looks like they came good

While Dell has been busy upgrading its XPS laptop range, it's also managed to add an all-in-one, sexy desktop computer to its line-up. The Dell XPS One

Editors' note: Originally published on January 18, 2017. Updated to reflect new configurations, performance results for the Intel 7th-generation CPU and Radeon RX 570 GPU and well as hands-on testing of the updating gaming and "entry-level VR"...
The XPS 27 (2017) has a terrific audio system, especially for an all-in-one, and a display with excellent color reproduction. It can also be configured to deliver decent gameplay and basic VR capability.
The webcam is poorly placed and it's not the most graceful-looking all-in-one. And the back connectors are miserably difficult to work with.
For discriminating ears and eyes, the XPS 27 (2017) all-in-one offers the best combination of features for the money.

An audiophile's all-in-one with a gorgeous screen that doubles as an artists' easel
Gorgeous 4K display that tilts for digital artists ; Enough power for serious art or video work ; Sounds fantastic for an all-in-one
A bit portly compared to an iMac ; Bundled keyboard and mouse feel cheap ; Hinge is a bit wobbly
It might not be as slim or svelte as an iMac, but the XPS 27 makes up for it in power and flexibility. The best Windows all-in-one you can buy

Our favorite all-in-one still has a higher-than 1080p touch screen and gamer-level graphics.
The updated ; is highlighted by excellent performance and features, plus a higher-than-1080p touch screen, Nvidia graphics, and Intel's latest fourth-gen CPUs. An HDMI input lets it double as a display for a game console or cable box.
The main benefit of Intel's new chips, amazing battery life, isn't applicable here. The adjustable stand could offer more flexibility.
As a big-screen upscale all-in-one with touch and decent gaming chops, the latest version of Dell's XPS 27 is a great all-around home PC that covers a lot of bases.
