When I bought three years ago wanted HTPC for use with Silicon Dust Prime. Hard disk recently croaked so I will replace that and this will become my son's for light use. Overall it was a good buy and easily paid for itself by not having to rent a junk...
Small, low power, mounts for TV.
Runs hot.

Overall, I got a good year out of the unit. Was it worth the price? No. Would have rather just put money into something that would have lasted at least 2-3 years and played HD video consistently.
Great size, features, low noise level for the price. Makes a decent low end HTPC.
Does not consistently play HD content from a HomeRun Price tuner. Some channels fine, others not. After 1.5 years, fan starting emitting terrible sound. Bad bearing perhaps. Now, when turning on tv, often the screen is multicolored and unusable. Have...

I've been using this little beauty to run a full server for the past 8 months or so. It does conversion on the fly for all my 720p videos for Plex with no problem, abut 60% usage. Runs at a consistent 60deg Celsius but it doesn't appear to affect the...
Great price, very capable little machine. Fits in a small space.
Had to fiddle with drivers in Ubuntu. A lot. Also the USB3 slots still give USB2.0 speeds, but that's probably just because I got sick and tired of fiddling with the dang ol' drivers.

Plenty fast with 32gb mSSD HD, 4gb RAM. All the ports i could ever need, quiet, about as small as they come
I originally got this machine to replace a tower as my media PC, it works great on Youtube and many TV streaming sites, however i've found that on high quality Hulu and Xfinity TV, (at least with windows 7) it gets super laggy. I've figured out its...

This is my second unit. The first one was even worse, and I was never able to get the bios flashed. I did get it to post and boot into freedos on usb thumb drive twice, but didn't have the bios image in the right spot, and never got it to post again....
Form factor is great. The price is right, even when it's not on sale ; Great features (though I wish the wifi was centrino, and wish it had esata) ; It's quiet, even when the fan comes on, but you can hear it when you're within a few feet of it ; Once...
It doesn't boot reliably. When it doesn't boot, it doesn't post, neither hdd nor usb get power (no hdd light; no light on usb thumbdrive; no keyboard lights), but cpu fan spins up and it just sits there ; On the original bios, it would only post once...

Small, compact, cheap
Stutter with VLC playing 1080p contents on Windows 8. I haven't tried too many other things yet but so far it's not performing too well on 1080p contents. Might have to switch it to Win7 or Media player classic to see if things would improve

Using Windows Vista 64 bit
It will play 'HD' netflix movies on a 21" monitor @ via DVI, but it cannot do the same via HDMI to an HD TV without stuttering. Need to reduce the screen resolution then it works reasonably ok (but some detail is lost). Pretty good as normal activities...
The wireless is unreliable for the 'n' speed but reliable for 'g' speed. The 'n' speed drops off occasionally even when the router is 20 feet away and on the same floor.

Installed: Windows 8 64 bit (no extra drivers needed) Hitachi 320gb 7200 rpm HDD 2 GB Corsair 1333mhz ram As stated above the antenna wires were backwards. Easy fix, but I wouldn't have thought of that if a previous reviewer didn't point it out. I...
Very small/ powerful. Low electricity usage. Can play lower end games/ newer games at low settings
Price. I believe this should be closer to 100 dollars because it is a motherboard/ on board cpu/ and a plastic case. Price of production can not be very much ; The antenna wires are BACKWARDS!!! as a previous reviewer mentioned
