A stylish AIO with a few design snags
Beautiful design ; Strong hardware performance ; Quality sound bar
Very reflective touchscreen ; Awkward peripherals included ; Weak bass
The HP Envy AIO 27 delivers superb entertainment and performance in a relatively compact package, but some be turned off by its ergonomics.

HP's redesigned version of its 27-inch all-in-one looks classy and has a layout to match.
The 2016 update of the HP Envy AIO 27 has a really pleasing and simple design, it's easy to use and its B&O sound system is better than your average built-in sound.
The bundled keyboard and mouse aren't that great, and some people might find the display a little too washed out.
A pretty good value wrapped in a classy, well-designed box, the HP Envy AIO 27 will fill your need for a solid everyday PC that you won't need to hide.

The HP Envy 27-inch IPS monitor with Beats Audio goes long on sound while still giving image quality its due.
Expert review by (which.co.uk)
The HP Envy 27 isn't a cheap proposition, but the components under the stylish hood might just justify its price tag. With a dedicated graphics card and Bang & Olufsen audio, it's clear that this isn't a model aimed at someone who does the odd bit of...

The HP Envy 27-p000na is one of the flashiest, best equipped, most expensive all-in-one (AIO) PCs on the market today. Its sizeable 27-inch touchscreen display boasts a whopping 3,840x2,160 Ultra-4K resolution, and nestled behind it is the latest Intel...

The HP Envy 27-b170na is a high-end all-in-one PC. It has an Intel Core i7 processor, a decent NVIDIA graphics card, a whopping 16GB RAM and a solid state drive, as well as a traditional hard drive. The specs are impressive, but it certainly isn't...

27in IPS panel with built-in speakers branded by Beats Audio.
Very stylish looks, big display, glossy front, Beats Audio built-in, DisplayPort connectivity, nice controls, good contrast ratio, slim aspect and thin bevel
Light leak on right side, big variation in brightness, not 100% sRGB, poor AdobeRGB coverage, only 1920x1080 compared to other 27" panels
Checking the colour gamut coverage, sRGB reached 97%, Adobe RGB at 76% and NTSC at a lowly 71%. Brightness consistency was mostly satisfactory except for the right side which was much brighter – up to 16.3% difference at 100% brightness setting....

Equipped with USB-C connectivity and AMD FreeSync technology, the slickly designed HP Envy 27 delivers a highly detailed picture and good grayscale performance.
Sleek design. Sharp UHD picture. AMD FreeSync-enabled. Good grayscale performance. USB-C connectivity.
Skewed greens. Tilt-only stand. Lacks USB 3.0 ports. Stingy warranty.
If you want a good-looking large-screen UHD monitor without having to drop a bundle, the HP Envy 27 is a solid choice. It delivered excellent image detail in our tests, and offers wide viewing angles, but its color accuracy could be better. While not...
