Sleek and powerful, but better-suited to a lesser CPU than Intel's top-end 10900K
Improved, attractive design ; Powerful, name-brand components
Bloatware tried to make me use Bing ; Cooling needs improvement for 10900K ; Persistent stock issues (just like the competition)
HP’s Omen 30L looks good and is a capable high-end gamer in our configuration with an RTX 3080. But you’ll want to set aside time to remove bloatware. And given the limited cooling, you should probably opt for something less than the 10900K CPU in our...

HP's beautiful new gaming desktop looks amazing with its minimalist design aesthetic. But how does it perform? Is this the gaming desktop everyone should buy?
Smooth 4K gaming ; Gorgeous design ; Accessible internals ; Ready to upgrade ; Good value
Can get very loud and hot

HP's Omen 30L is a solid pick for a mainstream gaming tower, if a smidge unpolished inside. It's widely configurable, with AMD and Intel CPU flavors, overclocking options, and RGB lighting.

Our HP OMEN 30L review looks at a maxed out beast of a gaming desktop which is available in a few different configurations.
Sleek, sexy RGB-friendly design ; Fantastic performance as tested ; Elevated for additional ventilation ; Extended front panel for additional ventilation
Front USB Type-C port would be nice as well ; Quite a few apps pre-installed that are not needed ; Not every configuration currently available ; HyperX FURY memory doesn't sync with the rest of the RGB lighting

The HP Omen 30L runs games beautifully, thanks to its powerful hardware and quiet cooling system. It's expensive, though, and packed with a lot of extraneous software and accessories.
Powerful components ; Excellent performance ; Runs quietly ; Striking design
Expensive, confusing configurations ; Needless software and accessories
The Corsair Vengeance i7200 is arguably a more powerful machine in the same general price range, and that's also quite a pretty machine. But the Vengeance is also slightly larger and bulkier, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to save a little...

Top-end specs ; Good expandability ; Highly configurable ; Better design than the older iterations ; Good overclocking facilities
Higher variants can get pricey ; Pre-installed bloatware can get annoying ; Not always available ; Cooling can be an issue ; Can get noisy under workload

If you're in the market for a complete gaming system with reasonably modern hardware and the ability to tackle new games with ease, you can't go wrong with the HP Omen 30L.
Consumer review (currys.co.uk)
Fast, rgb is good, pretty much turn on and go style set up
Fans are not good cpu hits close to 90degrees quite easily, hoping to upgrade the airflow soon, Top USB ports are terrible you can’t actually fit a usb into one of the 2 and it’s a force exercise to get something in the other

Good spec, looks smart
