If you want to game, spend the money for at least a GeForce 8600 card and add 2 more Gigs of momery. Then you can game just fine.
For the money, it was a great deal for everything that comes with it. Right out of the box it was easy to use and simple to setup. Plus it's XP, so you know things are good
If you want to game right away, then this is not the machine. For everything else, I highly recommend it

Overall a very nice machine, and with windows XP as the operating system I didn't have to upgrade my scanner and my printer, a big reason why I hadn't bought a new machine before now.
Very fast with most applications. Screen is nice and bright. The built in software all works well in the manner it was intended. Was able to copy a full DVD in around 20-30 minutes not too bad
Kind of tough to calibrate the screen. When the machine goes into stand by mode all the USB ports disappear this is an easy fix just disable the power saving stuff and make sure the screen saver is on. A lot of bloat too, have to disable and remove...

I made a lot of friends......
I shopped all over for a reasonably priced system. I also needed a system that can use Windows XP ; This HP is an Excellent value ; More than I expected for the price. Newegg has Superfast service

Looked all over town and on 15 different websites for the best deal. I learned of New Egg through Slashdot. I really did not want Windows Vista and New Egg gave me that. I tried building a similar computer through a manufacturer and they all priced out...
Came installed with XP, Came w/ 22" monitor, 2 TV outs, I ordered it Monday morning and was playing it Wednesday night. Has 2 300gb hard drives
I bought it mainly to play games but the system is more configured to be a media center. Nothing a better video card won't fix. Cordless mouse is kinda flimsy and eats 2 AA batteries a week
