It may come as a surprise to you that this Intel NUC 12 Extreme packs a fully fledged Core i9-12900
Small form factor that supports a full sized GPU.
You pay a high premium for the NUC form factor.
The 65W Intel Core i9-12900 at the heart of Dragon Canyon delivers good performance, however the price is way too high.

The Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast delivers much higher performance than its size would suggest, all while expertly handling heat and noise.
Excellent 1080p gaming performance Laptop CPU matches desktop performance Small and relatively quiet Fantastic connectivity
Expensive Large, clunky power brick
“The NUC 12 Enthusiast delivers desktop-grade performance in a tiny form factor.”

The Alder Lake-based NUC 12 Extreme, codenamed Dragon Canyon, is Intel's most powerful small form factor system yet.

"Dragon Canyon" NUC can't keep up with a bigger desktop, but it gets close.
Great performance and efficiency compared to the NUC 11 model it replaces
Modest fan will keep it from running as fast as a full-size desktop with more cooling capacity
