This isn't a cheap circuit board with wires perilously soldered on. It's a hefty solid rubber unit bottom mounted with two screws to nut inserts in a nice aluminum, open-top box the size of a floppy drive. With a few minutes of modding I was able to...
Does what it's supposed to do. Enough plugs to handle anything. Wires are quite long enough for almost any case. Added front I/O to an old Lian Li PC-60 case
The aluminum 3 1/2" bay is more of a matte silver matching nothing. Not really a con. I'd like it and buy it if it were purple neon

It was easy to install and works just as it should. I have not tested the firewire port as I have no firewire devices
I get some noise when headphones are plugged in, but I'm sure that's from my sound card

This is one of the few items at New Egg where if there is no free shipping and you want something like this - then you should just pony up for the shipping. If you're looking for a USB solution, either a hub or extra case-mounted ports, then this...
This is my second of these little units. I love these things. Much more convenient than a USB hub dangling off the machine. Plus, this doesn't need an extra power adapter taking up a plug if you want to charge gear or use an external HD ; The build is...
None - really

I had a old 5 inch floppy converter for a cd bay. It looks real nice in the white case.
4 USB Ports & Audio on front of pc.
Audio input and mic only snaps in some times. Wish I had 1394 on my motherboard but I dont use it.

Check your mother board specs before you buy
Good unit and easy to install.
would have been installed faster but it only has 1394 plug in and my mother board does not have this plugin had to buy a 1394 pic-express board to work with it. So now I have 2 in the back and 1 in the front. Only have 2 of the usb's working due to...

I have this in a case that had the onboard USB connectors break.
Does exactly what I need it to and closely matches the exterior of the case.
None at all.

The finish is a little rough, but the housing is solid. It was a tight fit through the front opening, but fit perfectly in the drive bay once through.
The silver finish, while a detriment to those without a silver case, looks great in my brushed aluminum case. This thing has more USB ports than my motherboard has headers for (con, maybe?)
Tight fit scuffed my expensive PC case a tad, but that's of no consequence. Once the unit was installed, it covered the blemishes.

No muss no fuss.
As others state, The line out doesn't cut off line out in back.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
moves connections to the frount of case without cables coming out of the back of you're case.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Connects to the Header on Mother Bd.
One of the USB jack is deformed.
