Quality on the cheap

The note book is light weight and has a very nice screen; plenty bright. The large capacity hard drive is also a big plus

Battery life is decent, but could be better. I got 3 hours battery life watching movies and surfing the web. Luckily there is a higher capacity battery availible for it from Toshiba

Incredible laptop

so many cool features, why oh why don't they advertise all this cool stuff!!! Pleasant surprise!

WOW, fast, reliable, very quick on internet and installs/downloads. Plays games and dvds very well, no lag time at all ; Has built in scrolling function in mouse pad that isn't advertised which is a huge bonus, really makes the touch pad more feasable....

Nice little Laptop

I bought this the day before Toshiba released their laptops with the CoreDuo and CoreSolo CPU's and I like what I got for what I paid. I know this laptop deserves better than the 1 egg reviews that I read.

1)It's portable ; 2)15.4" Widscreen ; 3)Wi-Fi antenna switch to save battery power ; 4)Some of the Toshiba utilites are more helpful than the Windows utilites that do the same thing

A little setup work required to get it running as I'd like it. (This would be required for any preconfigured notebook) Touchpad has "touchzones" in each corner and on the far right and bottom (to scroll) took a little getting used to. I stopped most...

My Bad Luck

I was using for last few years Toshiba Satellite 2140, It was also known as Dynabook Satellite 2140. Its display was quite ok to me. though it was P3 level Laptop, but it was nicely working.
